Harri Davies

Harri hasn’t applied for a job since 2011.

Instead, he sought out founders addressing important problems and persuaded them to take him on to get there faster.

Problems like where you start dictating where you end up. Defying this and taking hundreds of young people on free-school-meals to the top 1% of UK earners by 25 – a mission backed by Meta, Revolut and Formula 1.

Working with the University of Bristol, Harri has challenged the intergenerational blame game, bringing students, graduates and industry leaders together to work out how they can collectively adapt to – and help shape – the changing world of work.

Now, through Building a Company of 1, recent graduates, mid-career professionals and seasoned entrepreneurs build side by side, turning what they know into products, services and new income streams, with AI used where it adds value.

His bet: flourishing in the AI era won’t be about big titles and corporate names on CVs. Those who can solve problems, nurture networks and experiment continuously have a bright future ahead.
